Fully Automatic DNS Provisioning

This section describes how to automatically create the DNS record using the Onboarding wizard (see Two-step DNS Provisioning).

1. Click Here to Provision M365 Domain and DNS Automatically.

2. Configure all the required fields using the following table as a reference.

Parameter

Description

Region/Country

Drop-down list for configuring the relevant region of the customer site SBC.

IP Address

IP Address of the SBC device for selected Region/Country (preconfigured).

SBC

Name of the SBC device for selected Region/Country (preconfigured).

Domain Name

Domain Name of the Live Platform server.

SBC Site Name

Name of the SBC Site location. By default, the Shortname configured at the beginning of the Onboarding wizard.

Full Domain Name

The Domain Name appended with the SBC Site Name, together which define the Online PSTN Gateway value.

License Plan

The License Plan required for the UMP Activation User (see Verify License Availability). If a License Plan is not available, the following message is displayed. Free a license in the Microsoft 365 Office admin center of the customer tenant (see Free License for Automatic DNS Provisioning). Once successfully reloaded, value 'Microsoft_Teams_Enterprise_New' is displayed to represent the Microsoft 365 E5 (no Teams) license.

The new tenant is added.During the script processing, the TXT record is created, the domain is created, then the TXT record is deleted and the A-record is created. Upon the completion of the process, a user is created with an OFFICE 365 E5 license.

The newly created domain is displayed under Online PSTN Gateway drop-down list.

3. Complete the Onboarding wizard as described in Onboarding with both M365 Default Routing and SBC Configuration.
